I love printed books, I prefer them and that wouldn’t change in a million of years, but the world is full of amazing stories and sometimes you can read them only through an e-reader… So, do I read eBooks? Yes. Do I have a Kindle? No. (Not until now at least) How is that possible? Well, I didn’t have an e-reader, but since I live with Franny and she’s got one for her birthday in October, I was borrowing hers.
Now, Rebecca knew that and since we have a great friendship (and I mean a real, fabulous one!), she thought she’d do something about this situation and so she sent me a gift… I know the “…” wouldn’t be necessary since form the title and the picture is pretty clear what she has sent me, but what you ignore is that this is not just a Kindle, this is (was) HER Kindle! The first she had and now it’s mine! Does this make it more special? OF COURSE! Do you realize how important it is an object like this for a book blogger? Do you understand the sentimental value? I thought so, then you can imagine my deep joy when the postman knocked on my door this morning!!!! o/ o/ o/ o/
B, it’s more than fine, it perfectly survived, it doesn’t have a scratch and it agrees with me that you’re my hero!!!! ๐ But, most important thing, you’re an amazing person and one of the best, awesome friends I could have wished for (and you know it has nothing to do with gifts)!!!!
