MY REVIEW
I’m always over-excited when I get to read an Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series book, and I admit I was particularly curious about this release because I read many people saying this instalment could have been a sort of ending. But to be honest I haven’t felt that way at all. Of course there are some events that close a big part of the series, but thing is that I would have been disappointed with a end like that, because from my point of view it was a too fast and easy closure for something so big and unique. Plus, there weren’t all the special men we so love as much as Anita does (ok, perhaps she does more but still!) and could you really imagine not having the possibility to “see” them once more and say a proper goodbye? I don’t know about you but I hope from the bottom of my heart that goodbye is far, far away…
Speaking of men, there’s a new entry here and a really lovely one! Ethan isn’t just handsome (go figure!), he’s simply adorable! He definitely has something special that keeps you attracted to him, and not just in a physical way. I seriously would have taken him home with me in an instant! But then which man of this series would I dare not having at home with me, huh?
“Hit List” is an amazing 20th instalment of one of the most powerful series ever, and despite someone could feel this book like an ending to the series, trust me, something terribly dangerous has just taken form…

I can definitely see some people thinking it'd fit as the end, but I agree I would have been super disappointed! Because, while it's the end to some things, it leaves WAY too much open. And if that is the ending to the certain issue it DOES close, it just feels WAY too easy as well. I think something big will definitely happen and I can't wait for more! And more MEN! Woosh. Their little piece in the end gave me goose-bumps!! :]
I've only read one of these books many years ago and I didn't like it. Think it's time to give this series another go. Thanks for the review Silvia.
