Inspired Fridays (#32)

Inspired Fridays is a weekly meme hosted by Inkk Reviews.
Show something you have done, want to try, or whatever inspires you!

Here’s what inspires me this week . . .

I found this picture while I was spending some quality time on Pinterest—let’s face it, saying ‘quality time’ helps our ego—and I suddenly felt nostalgic . . .

When I was a kid, I had a rocking chair that looked exactly like the one here on the right. I remember it clearly, for it was one of my favourite things in the whole world!

Now years have passed and I’m an irrevocable, passionate reader/dreamer with the need for the perfect spot to read/live the dream.

I think it’s safe to say we all have reached the same conclusion: give me back my rocking chair!

What do you think? And what inspires you?

  1. I love rocking chairs!!! I didn't have one at home as a kid but my grandfather did and I would always sit on his when I went to visit. It's been a long time. I am so getting one soon! =)

  2. Bookworm Brandee

*ha* When I was little, I used to read in a black, swivel rocker, Silvia. 🙂 Rocking chairs do make me nostalgic as well.

  3. AWW I love rocking chairs. I remember when I was little and stayed at my cousins house when he was a newborn. In his nursery there was a rocking chair. I remember rocking in it reading him stories mind you I was like 5 lol Thanks for sharing and stopping by!!
