Here’s what inspires me this week . . .
I found this picture while I was spending some quality time on Pinterest—let’s face it, saying ‘quality time’ helps our ego—and I suddenly felt nostalgic . . .
When I was a kid, I had a rocking chair that looked exactly like the one here on the right. I remember it clearly, for it was one of my favourite things in the whole world!
Now years have passed and I’m an irrevocable, passionate reader/dreamer with the need for the perfect spot to read/live the dream.
I think it’s safe to say we all have reached the same conclusion: give me back my rocking chair!
What do you think? And what inspires you?
I love rocking chairs!!! I didn't have one at home as a kid but my grandfather did and I would always sit on his when I went to visit. It's been a long time. I am so getting one soon! =)
I love rocking chairs, too, Silvia! And the one in your picture is really nice – I love the flowing lines everywhere.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I'm so happy you want to get one! I really think they're amazing and I truly miss mine so much… *sigh*
It is, isn't it? It SO reminds me of my old rocking chair… I swear it looked just like this one and it was precious to me…
Have a fantastic weekend, Lexxie! 🙂
Love the picture 🙂 I agree, I love a rocking chair or a porch swing over looking the sea 🙂

I like that picture as well, Chanzie! <3
*ha* When I was little, I used to read in a black, swivel rocker, Silvia. 🙂 Rocking chairs do make me nostalgic as well.
Really? That's great, Brandee! I feel less alone 🙂
AWW I love rocking chairs. I remember when I was little and stayed at my cousins house when he was a newborn. In his nursery there was a rocking chair. I remember rocking in it reading him stories mind you I was like 5 lol Thanks for sharing and stopping by!!
What a precious memory, Jess 🙂
