Teaser Tuesday (#42)

Posted June 17, 2014 by Silvia in Uncategorized / 22 Comments

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB @ Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

– Grab your current read
– Open to a random page
– Share 2 “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
– BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
– Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

As if reading my mind, he pulled away. His own breathing was heavy as he looked at me, not as if he was undressing me with his eyes, but as if he was making plans for the body in front of him.

Kindle 58% – “Beg” by C.D. Reiss
What do you think?
Leave a comment with a link to your TT so I can stop by and be teased by them all! 😉

Nice tease. I haven't seen this book before. Hope you enjoy reading the rest of it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and if you get a chance, do read Easy.

Omigosh, Silvia! Are you loving Beg?!? This tease makes me want to dive into the next book! Can't wait to see what you think! (and I have to admit, I'm thrilled you're reading something I've already read! *ha*)

Oh my! Brandee, are you creating havoc in the blogosphere?? 🙂
Great teaser, Silvia! I have this on my Kindle and I look forward to reading it!

  4. Hehe, I picked this one after you shared it on your blog, Brandee! 😉 I can't say I fell in love with it, but I did enjoy the read and I'm curious to see how things progress. I haven't bought the other instalments yet, but I have another one I took as a freebie. Of course, I won't read it before I put my hands on the previous ones…

I guess it's content isn't for everyone…not sure it's even really for me but I love Reiss' writing so much. It takes a gritty, ugly story and makes it kinda beautiful. In my opinion, anyway. *ha* I've purchased the next few installments and I'm looking forward to Use, which is the next in the Songs of Perdition series.

  6. I read a lot of this genre and I'm honestly used to way darkest stories, so the content is fine, really. I guess the characters are what didn't completely strike me. Then, I didn't dislike the book and I'll be waiting to read your thoughts about Use, Brandee 🙂
