The dramatic conclusion to the Experiment in Terror Series.
Perry Palomino and Dex Foray.
On their own, they’re uniquely brilliant. Together, they’re an unstoppable team.
Until now.
Because after everything the duo has encountered, they haven’t come across an evil quite like this. An evil that has been years in the making, an evil that will stop at nothing until they, and everyone they care for, are destroyed.
Dex and Perry’s love has survived a multitude of sins.
But can it survive the end?

The moment to say goodbye to one of the best couple of characters I’ve ever read about has come. How sad, but how great it is to have found such a series that has been intense from beginning to end.

Although this wasn’t the darkest instalment in the series in my opinion, strong feelings kept running through me during the whole read. Of course, Karina Halle always makes her readers feel the most powerful of the emotions, but sometimes she can also leave you speechless . . . In all honesty, I figured something out and I prepared myself for what was going to happen—it wasn’t easy, though—but there couldn’t have been any preparation for a certain twist Halle delivered out of the blue. I applaud this author and her ability to bring me on the verge of crying every time—no matter the ones involved in the drama—and for letting me get attached to Dex and Perry in a way that had me totally invested by their roller-coaster of emotions. I loved it!

EIT is truly A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. If you haven’t started the read yet, I strongly suggest you to grab the whole series right away and enjoy a ride you will never forget . . .

  1. Last books in series are so bittersweet! Amazing because we get closure, and sad because there will be no more stories about our fave characters set in a world we've really gotten to know.
Great review, Silvia 🙂 This series has been on my TBR for ages, and now I look forward to it even more.

Okay, okay – I promise I will get started on this series! 😉 I'm glad you liked how it all wrapped up, Silvia…even if you were sad to see it end. 🙂

  3. It's always sad when a series comes to an end, but you know what? I like that part, too. You get to see how everything turns out and that is just wonderful because you've been living the story from the very beginning. And yes, you should definitely read this series, Brandee! 😉

  4. I'm so glad you enjoyed Dust to Dust, Sylvia! It was so sad to say goodbye to Dex and Perry, I've grown to love them both so much. I know there is always rereading… but it's never quite the same. And I completely agree with you, it's so addictive and once I started the series last year, I couldn't stop!
