Waiting on Wednesday (#6)

Posted June 24, 2015 by Silvia in Waiting on Wednesday / 19 Comments

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme originally created by Jill @ Breaking The Spine
in which we have the opportunity to spotlight upcoming releases we’re eagerly anticipating.

This week’s pick: TOXIC

Toxic by Kim KarrExpected publication date: July 7, 2015

The New York Times bestselling author of the Connections novels turns up the heat in a sexy new romance about money, power, danger, and passion . . .
Sometimes you have to wonder if your life is just too good to be true.
Is it real or just an illusion?
Does the man lying beside you really love you like he says he does?
If the answer is yes, you’re meant to live happily ever after.
If the answer is no, you’re living my life . . .
and nothing will ever be the same.
I know I should walk away, but I can’t.
I’ll take whatever I can get for as long as it lasts.
I know when it’s over . . .
I’ll never find another man like him.

What do you think? And what are you waiting for?
Leave a comment with a link to your WoW so I can stop by and get excited, too! 😉

I haven't read anything by Kim Karr. I love the cover but I'm not sure this story is for me. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Sounds heartbreaking… but good. I'd love to see an author do a happy ending in two goes. First a story like this, that ends badly and broken, and then a second chance…
Anyway, hope you'll love this. Not that long a wait.
Thanks for stepping by and sharing! =)

  3. I actually love that, too! Have you tried those series: Caroline & West by Robin York and Eversea by Natasha Boyd? They're both SO very good, and with two instalments they say it all!! If you haven't, I'd strongly recommend to go for them 😉
