Time to see if we can make legend with a brilliant FairyLoot unboxing!
Remember when I said in my April unboxing that it was potentially my fave box so far? Yeah, then this one was delivered . . . I really shouldn’t be surprised at this point, but they keep amazing me and, to be honest, I think it’s a pretty good thing. And they surely know how to pick a subscriber’s interest only by using a few words, such as this month’s theme: WARRIORS & LEGENDS.
Go on, scroll down and look at a truly legen—wait for it—dary box . . .
WARRIORS & LEGENDS TEA | The Tea Leaf Company
Second time this company kindly sends us their delicious tea! This is a blend of green tea with hints of lychee and jasmine, which you can smell as soon as you open the metal container. They say it’s sure to calm you down after a long day, so every day is basically a good one to have some, am I right?
THE WORLD MYTHOLOGY IN BITE-SIZED CHUNKS | Mark Daniels
Isn’t this just great? Not only because I have a thing for mythology <3, but also because this item means we have got not one, but two books in this box! Come on, what book lover doesn’t do a happy dance? Although some sort of happy ritual might be more appropriate in this case 😉
OPPOSING TIN CANDLE | In The Wick of Time
Ok, this candle was really interesting because firstly it’s smaller than all the others I got (hence tin), and secondly they sent two different candles, both scents tie into the story of the book of the month. I got Mist, who has gotten Flame? And who wants to grab the other one just to have their set complete?
CELTIC SOCKS | FairyLoot
It’s way too warm to wear them right this moment but, let me tell you, I can’t wait to put these on! The design looks good, it has a Celtic knot pattern and it makes me wonder how many enemies will kneel at my feet . . . Probably none since I don’t recall having any 😛
ONE RING WOODMARK | Ink and Wonder
Featuring a quote from Lord of the Rings, this bookmark is made from sustainable sourced wood and it is so very cool! Prior to this one, I have to confess I didn’t know those existed, and now I feel like I should get more. One woodmark to rule them all!
METALLIC FEATHER PEN | Flora’s Wonder Emporium
Like every warrior needs their trusty quill to sign battle treaties, bloggers like me need their own to write book reviews. You can see lots of these pens shared by us subscribers on Instagram, and they look gorgeous in every colour. I’m very happy for the one I got, though, it’s like a piece of shiny gold in this amazing chest.
FLAME IN THE MIST | Renée Ahdieh
Pretty sure lots of bloggers I know either got an ARC of this title, or they have it on their TBR lists, and I’m high-fiving all of them!! We also got a signed bookplate, a bookmark, and an author letter that when turned, you just want to keep staring at it because there’s the lovely cover artwork on it.
BONUS ITEM: NAONDEL SAMPLER
And because we are never tired of reading, FairyLoot included a first chapter sampler of “Naondel”. Totally new-to-me book but, as you know by now, I’m always up for a new adventure!
I believe we all agree I was right, FairyLoot did a legendary job with this box!
Since one can’t ever have enough of these boxes—or simply doesn’t know how to stop—you guys should get ready for another round of awesomeness with next month’s theme: ELEMENTALISTS!
[…] discover the goodies inside these boxes, they never fail to amaze me and, I have to admit, after my May unboxing I was really curious to see how they would top that one off. Oh well, they had me at the book . . […]
