Inspired Fridays (#28)

Inspired Fridays is a weekly meme hosted by Inkk Reviews.
Show something you have done, want to try, or whatever inspires you!

Here’s what inspires me this week . . .

(Check the tutorial out!)

In the late 19th and early 20th century, spats (a shortening of spatterdashes) were something fashion of the period used as boot coverings mostly by men. In the modern era, women use these as a fashion accessory and leg warmers. Who would have ever guessed, huh?

I’m one of these women who particularly like them—yes, I wear them, too—and, if you’re a Victorian/Steampunk lover, you can very well understand my awe for the spats on the left!

I know, right? Oh-my, how gorgeous!!

Psst, they’re handmade embroidered sweater spats! 😉

What do you think? And what inspires you?
