Teaser Tuesday (#55)

Posted May 5, 2015 by Silvia in Uncategorized / 15 Comments

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB @ A Daily Rhythm.

Wanna play along? Grab your current read, open to a random page and share two sentences from somewhere on that page, being careful NOT to include spoilers (you don’t wanna ruin the book for others!). Also, remember to include title & author as well so, if readers like your teaser, they can add the book to their TBR lists!

This week’s teaser: DARKNESS SPLINTERED by Keri Arthur

He studied me for several heartbeats, a smile tugging at his lips and his expression somewhat bemused.
Then he sighed, shook his head, and said, “For a very smart woman, Risa Jones, you are sometimes extraordinarily dumb.”

I think it's very easy to say very dumb things, no matter who you are! It's why I should think more before I speak because otherwise you might never guess I go to university! This sounds like an interesting book! Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you have a great week!

Hmm, I'm wanting to know what that bemused smile was about. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I've read some of Arthur's Riley Jensen series and liked it. I think I need to pick up some of her other books – particularly in this series. ๐Ÿ˜‰
