I was starting to really miss the Paranormal Romance genre, so when the publisher surprised me with the most lovely package ever I couldn’t wait to start this read! And, I must say, it was really well delivered.

Michael is the only surviving vampire, his past and the collective memories of those who existed before him constantly assail his dreams, and the only hope he has to bring back his race is through his true mate. Centuries has passed without finding her, so imagine when the match he couldn’t believe existed is the tough human girl with a witty mouth and quite the temper . . . Heat ignites instantly, but she gives our hero a very hard time and that was so entertaining! I also really loved the double pov and the fact the author gave insights of the vampire’s world thanks to a third character whose voice has been very appreciated.

Kate Baxter has done a very good job with the world building and her characters are funny, sexy and fascinating as much as the whole story. I would really suggest every lover of this genre to give this book a try, I personally look forward to the next instalment!
