Sasha was an enticing Siren until a Sea Witch cursed her, turning her into a human and a succubus. Her curse–she must have sex or she will go insane. All that changes when she meets Chase, a cop with stage three cancer. Will Sasha believe in the miracle of Christmas and risk her life for his or will the Sea Witch’s curse mark her for eternity?

I was looking at a few titles of a friend’s Kindle when I ran into this novella and an “Oh, sirens!” escaped my mouth and made me stop and read it. I’m not particularly fond of these creatures, but they’ve always intrigued me and I must say so did the concept of Sirens and Titans in here. But, even if the story was interesting, I’m afraid the novella was a bit disappointing.

I liked the premises but to me the writing was too rushed. A couple of chapters more would have helped to connect with the characters better and I definitely think a few more words were necessary here and there to avoid the reader to get lost—like it happens during Sasha’s revelation. It’s a shame because it really had the potential to be a pleasurable novella, one I would have really enjoyed.
