Ginny Walters always knew her weakness for bad boys would get her into trouble. Her one night stand with Black Halo's lead guitarist, Ash Gore, was only supposed to be a fun, not the prelude to the sort of relationship that'd scorch holes in her heart as well as her bed sheets. She'd be the happiest woman in the world if Ash wasn't so determined to keep their connection off radar.
Ash Gore knows girlfriends are bad news for bands, which is why he's resolved to keep his attachment to Ginny a secret. He and the guys have enough on their stages as they try to piece themselves back together after the band's split. But when new drummer, Iain Willows, starts taking an active interest in Ginny, tensions quickly mount. Soon, Ash is not only at risk of losing Ginny, but everything he holds dearest—including life itself.
After reading Come Together, I was really looking forward to putting my hands on All Fired Up. Why is that, you ask? Because I can’t have enough of Ash Gore, of course! That and the fact that it was really killing me not knowing what exactly happened between him and Ginny during the tour.
I could say that Ash and Ginny were a fantastic and quite the perfect match from the very beginning, and boy if they just proved me right here! They both have a past that restrains them from taking a real commitment—especially Ash—but it’s clear that they want more from their ‘relationship’. They just have to work on some personal issues first, and the tour may help or not in this. What it certainly does, is give us a blast! Believe me when I say you can’t get a minute of boredom with Ginny’s strong personality, Ash making your insides melt and the twists the story is rich of.
After an ending like the one in this book, I don’t just want to read the next instalment badly, I want to know everything about Spook! Indeed, you should never underestimate the power of ‘minor’ characters in this series.
*sigh* I can't get enough of Ash either, Silvia. But then, you know that already. 😉 I was eager to get started on this one immediately upon finishing All Night Long. I still have to read Come Together but I can tell you I.AM.HOOKED on these guys and girls! Oh, and I have to pick up Remastered so I can some more Spook. Ellis just keeps showing little glimpses of what goes on in his head and I am so excited that he's going to get his own book. Thanks again for sharing this series with me!
Oh my, you're just making me want to read a rock star book asap. I think I'll go ahead and get book 1 😀 Great review
Hehe, I'm well aware of that and I'm totally with you. 😉 I believe I'm going to pick up Remastered soon as well, and it just makes my day knowing I hit the target and you now are loving these guys and their stories as much as I do! <3
Well, my job here is done, then! 😉 Go ahead without shame and enjoy the band the book 😛
