Don’t you just love when a book you grab for free turns out to be a page-turner and you feel like that give-me-the-other-instalments-right-now kind of demanding reader? My, my, I crossed paths with the deadliest underground organization and yet, I’ve never felt more alive . . .

I confess I started this book with no big expectations, the author was new to me and I honestly kept getting lots of disappointing freebies lately, so I thought the best approach was to simply read without overthinking about it. Man, Fox made quite difficult not to overthink . . . About him, that is! It’s a mix of things, really, his background, his skills, his caring for Dani, his body everything about Fox makes him a very interesting character. And the most amazing thing is that he feels real, and so Dani. Although they are facing an extreme(ly dangerous) situation, their banters, their fighting to not give in—too soon—to temptation, and the way they act/react still feel believable. Add to this lots of action and intriguing secondary characters, and you’ll see the appealing of this book.

If you’re into fast-paced romantic suspense with a great chemistry between the characters, I’d tell you to grab this one and let it do its job. In case of a sudden craving, remember there are more books in the series.
