The Spring Equinox brings a slew of nasties to the streets of Nashville. Huntress Josie Hawk is determined to get her arch enemy to sign a treaty, whether the Assembly is behind her or not. But when Keller O’Leary—sexiest vampire alive—returns, will Josie learn to be a team player, or will she stake the heart that has captured hers?
(Part of the anthology A Celtic Tapestry)
Another novella in The Josie Hawk Chronicles that didn’t disappoint! Everything is under Josie’s point of view this time and, I must say, I appreciated not having more of the POV jumps from third to first person of the previous novella. I didn’t get distracted and devoured the read in just a sitting.
Perhaps we don’t get to see much of Keller, but what we see—and hear him saying—is definitely worth it. The real entertainment here is Josie and her struggle to be apart from this charming Irish vampire she would gladly forget about (would she, really?). That is definitely what catches the reader’s attention the most, especially since we’re all waiting for the moment when the struggle stops, are we not?
I had a great time catching up with Josie and Keller’s building relationship/partnership and, after the latest events, I’m excited to read their very first full novel, Indigo Dawn!
So, so glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks, Silvia!
I've not heard of this series before, but if sounds cool. Glad you enjoyed!
So, so glad you wrote it. Thanks, Elle! 🙂
After reviewing Alabaster Nights I knew I had to keep up with the other instalments, and I'm very happy I did so!
I remember your review of Alabaster Nights, Silvia. And I was intrigued with this story and the characters. I'm glad that this installment was enjoyable for you! I'm definitely still curious. 🙂
I'm glad you remember it, Brandee, and I'm also happy I kept your curiosity on high level with this novella 😉
I really enjoyed this connector Novella. It bridges the gap between Alabaster nights and Indigo Dawn beautifully 🙂 Josie is just awesome!
