For 23-year-old Mackenzie Hill, tossing her life down the garbage disposal is easy after a painful incident shatters her life. Her heart is bleeding, and moving to Watcher’s Point is a chance to start anew, only she isn’t prepared for the guy who walks out of her dreams and into the flesh. Literally . . . because she’s been dreaming about this sexy stranger for years.
Mackenzie is even less prepared to face the dark nature of her dreams. They’ve turned disturbingly gruesome, full of blood and murder, and when they begin to coincide with the media’s headlines, she and Aidan realize her visions might be the key to stopping a madman from killing again. Only Aidan has painful secrets of his own, and perhaps the biggest danger of all is falling for him.
This book has a very great plot and even if I guessed a couple of things right, in the end I honestly couldn’t have put every piece of this twisted puzzle together, so I was pleasantly surprised. No surprises in liking Aiden, though. If I was in the bar he ‘accidentally’ happened to be as well, I would end up choosing the bar-stool just to enjoy his company. Indeed, he has such an effect on girls and Mackenzie has known something about that since . . . well, forever.
Aiden and Mac are quite the couple, but then every character should have a special mention since everyone plays their part very well, and they all intrigue the reader for a reason or another. It’s pretty safe to say that I was definitely into both story and characters, all I wanted to do was keep reading. I absolutely had a fantastic time and I also really enjoyed the titles in every chapter, they hint exactly to what you are about to read without revealing too much. One of those little details that personally make me appreciate a book even more.
Epiphany is intense, involving and, believe me, really sensual. I’m totally looking forward to the next instalment and, if you still haven’t done so, you should pick this one up and give it a go!
I'm so glad you loved this book! I completely agree with what you say, people should read this one pronto!
Plus, you well know I am looking forward to book #2 as well. =D
Great review!
Oh well you have me curious as I have not tried a NA paranormal, and I think this is the one to try. I love that while some was predictable other parts you didn't see coming!
It's something different and very good, I can't wait to read more!!
I think you may enjoy this, Kimberly! It has nothing to do with 'paranormal creatures' but 'paranormal powers' and it's mystery & suspense all the way.
Aww, thank you, Silvia! I'm so glad you enjoyed my "baby," lol!
And I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed all of your "babies" so far, Christina! 🙂
