Ever since his abduction by the Eternal Order of Vampires, Gray Donohue has finally found his true calling: vengeance. He will stop at nothing to bring his fellow Impure vampires the freedom they deserve. Now if he could just release his primal need for the beautiful vampire who saved his life—and rules his thoughts and desires . . .
After nearly killing the senator she was assigned to protect, Dillon is now in mortal danger. The jaguar within her has been unleashed, and she can no longer control it. Sex is the only thing that can tame her shift. And Gray is the only man who can make her surrender to a passion strong enough to overpower her inner beast. But she doesn't want to surrender—she wants her life back. Because she is determined never to belong to anyone, especially not Gray . . . the man who destiny claims is her mate.

Of all the men in this series, Gray Donohue was the last one I was expecting to find so . . . so . . . wildly-freaking-awesome! My knees give up a little (too much) just thinking about this hot fighter who’s not hot just because of his handsome presence, but for being such a strong believer of the equality of the species, too. Yes, that is sexy as much as his primal need for Dillon. A constant and uncontrollable impulse that makes your reading particularly pleasurable . . . Then, the whole plot excites you with such a strong intensity that not only you can’t put the book down, but you’re already thinking about the next one!

D. is a character I always loved and I was anxiously waiting to see through her past and find out what terrible thing happened to make her be that way . . . Don’t get this wrong, I completely like the way she is, I wouldn’t change a thing because she’s such a kick-ass character in every aspect of the word, and I totally love that. However, something was clearly off with her and I had to know what it was. Now I know and I have to say that Laura Wright never disappoints her readers and always find a way to shock and surprise us all.

Mark of The Vampire is a marvellous, compelling and very addictive series with stunning cliffhangers that let you passionately crave book after book!
