FairyLoot - Twisted Tales

Let me tell you a tale called FairyLoot unboxing!

Last time I did this, it was this past Summer with my July unboxing, and I think we all agree I showed quite the strong will by refraining myself from purchasing a box until now. Of course, you guys didn’t see me cry and hide in a dark of corner eating cookies and reading sad stories to match my mood, but it’s not like I’m gonna tell you all th— Oh shoot! . . . Moving on, let’s talk about February’s theme: TWISTED TALES.

Once upon a time, in a blog in the UK . . .

GRIMM TALES MUG | Aunjuli Art

FairyLoot - Twisted Tales: Mug

A girl can’t ever have enough mugs, so here it comes a VERY unique one! The artwork on it features multiple Grimm fairytales—what you see on the picture is just part of it, the artwork actually covers the whole mug—and you gotta have fun spotting all of them. But can you, really? The details might surprise your eye 😉

HINTERLAND CANDLE | Wick and Fable

FairyLoot - Twisted Tales: Tin Candle

In case I haven’t made myself clear enough last year, I LOVE CANDLES!  Big, medium, small, tin ones like this beauty here, give me a scented candle and you’re sure to put a smile on my face. And when they smell as good as this one, I really feel like I’m in The Hinterland Heaven!

POISONOUS APPLE BATH SALTS | Little Heart

FairyLoot - Twisted Tales: Salts

We all know to stay away from the awful witch offering poisonous apples, but what when someone we trust makes them into bath salts and deliver them right to our door? Oh, wait, I’ve just read the bath salts are not actually poisonous. We’re all good, guys! Sorry to have given you a startle 😛

THE WITCH & THE GINGERBREAD HOUSE SOCKS | FairyLoot

FairyLoot - Twisted Tales: Socks

Speaking of witches, we can’t forget about Hansel and Gretel‘s one, can we? Now, I always thought I would never be able to digest that huge gingerbread house, but sporting both ‘the house’ and ‘the witch’ on my feet sounds like something I can do with no problem whatsoever.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD WOODMARK | Ink and Wonder

FairyLoot - Twisted Tales: Woodmark

Second time I get a bookmark made from sustainable sourced wood from this company thanks to a FairyLoot box and, let me tell you, these are quite the lovely bookmarks to collect! I’m going to enjoy reading using this while staying alert because, you know, wolves may lurk in every guise . . .

THE HAZEL WOOD | Melissa Albert

FairyLoot - Twisted Tales: Book

I’m positive many of you have seen this book before with a totally different—always gorgeous—cover, BUT this makes for an all new experience! How so, you ask? Well, on the front cover there are little objects hidden between the leaves. THAT.IS.AWESOME. Also, the book is signed <3 and we got a great letter from the author.

To me, FairyLoot proved once more to be the best book subscription box out there!

FairyLoot - Twisted Tales: Unboxingv

They are celebrating their second anniversary, so March boxes are going out in all their purple glory, WOOT! I didn’t get one *grabs tissues*, but I’m curious to see what they have planned with a month’s theme such as: WHIMSICAL JOURNEYS!
