Blackbird gave me so many—messed up—feelings that I’ve been highly anticipating this second instalment in the Redemption series. What I wasn’t expecting, though, was for new conflicting emotions to arise . . .

A captivating plot, a girl forced to live following orders that cage her, a secret to keep for her own sake, adrenaline rushing, brief moments of pleasure happiness stolen, and two men fighting—in different ways—for the same girl. I’ve never been a big fan of triangles but damn, if McAdams didn’t persuade me to love the one in here! Kieran Hayes is a gripping character, one you’d very much like to analyse until you have him all figured out. Hope to. Crave to. Can we at least try, Molly McAdams? Then, TRUTH to be told, Demitri Borello is the one making your toes curl and your body temperature rise with just a question, a simple game, one I DARE you to play after reading this book . . .

I am really amazed by how this author manages to drive me crazy with her dangerously charming characters and dark scenery every time. If you love this genre and are up for a read that you won’t be able to put down, I’d say you found your gem!
