The blurb of this book got me so intrigued that I said yes as soon as the publisher contacted me asking for a review. It’s a genre I know well and one I always end up enjoying, so when I started the read I was confident enough about the kind of story I was getting into and yet, it proved to have something different to offer . . .

Everything starts quite dark, and then it gets darker until the point that you can’t understand if it’s Emily the one having a problem or you. The more you read, the more you find that there’s a lot to process, and not just for the characters. Sometimes the reader may find a few events disturbing, but they are all part of a story that is waiting for you to put the pieces together and have the whole picture revealed. Now, can you? Challenging and seductive from beginning to end, First Touch surprised me and so did the mysterious Reeve . . .

Sinful, powerful and compelling. I loved it in ways I wouldn’t have imagined. And, let’s face it, the cliffhanger at the end totally made me beg for the next instalment!
