When Hollywood movie star Jack Eversea stumbled into sleepy Southern town Butler Cove, he had no idea he would encounter the only 'real' thing that's ever happened to him—only to let her slip through his fingers. Now Jack's life is in ruins. He's being threatened by the production company of his latest movie franchise, feels betrayed by those he trusted most and is on the verge of losing his entire career.
Keri Ann Butler's life changed the night she met Jack Eversea. But suddenly he was gone, and she has to pick up the pieces and start again. Now Jack has returned, with one thing on his mind—winning back the girl who stole his heart. But Keri Ann has moved on. Is it too late?
At the end of the first book, things between Keri Ann and Jack didn’t end in the most pleasant of ways, so picking up where we left them was a great way to start the read, especially because we got to see what really happened to Jack.
Having a bit of Jack’s point of view really helped me feel his devastation and desperation to try to win his Keri Ann back. Not the easiest of missions, but not an impossible one either. Right? Of course, with the situation that has been created and the media playing their game, Keri Ann struggles more and more between her love for Jack and his surroundings she would gladly make disappear once and for all. I can’t say I was always with her this time, but I kept praying for the best and for her to make the right decision. Thankfully, it seemed like Jack’s notes actions didn’t go unnoticed for very long . . .
If your read Eversea and loved it, get ready for another emotional road. Make yourself comfortable and let Natasha Boyd guide you through a journey that will stay with you for quite a while!
I really enjoyed Eversea, so I'm disappointed that I haven't read Forever Jack, especially with that ending! I'm so glad you enjoyed this finale!
Oh that sounds intense. I love when you get both of their points of view for at least some of the read.
It's nice to see the second book is good too! I haven't tried the series but always nice to have a good romance ro try!
Sounds good, Silvia! I love second chances, and so I think I need to add this series to my TBR. Movie stars aren't as hot to me as rock-stars are, but maybe Jack will be able to change my mind?
Have a great Name Day, Silvia!!
Yay! I'm happy Forever Jack was a rewarding read for you, Silvia. This series is still in my queue thanks to you and I hoping to get to it later this month or in December. 🙂 Happy Tuesday!
I really did, Andrea, and I hope you'll read Forever, Jack as soon as your schedule clears a bit!
I love that, too. As a matter of fact, I think both POVs just help the reader grow very fond of both main characters.
It is very good and I'm glad I could help you find a romance to try, Melliane! 🙂
Well, they are different but I think you could reeeeally like Jack, Lexxie… Perhaps you should stop by tomorrow to read my review for My Star, My Love, a Jack and Keri Ann Christmas novella included in a lovely collection. That should help you make up your mind. 😉
Thank you!! xx
December sounds perfect! I was just telling Lexxie about the Christmas novella for this series I'm going to post the review for tomorrow. I think you know what I'm referring to since you're also part of the Blitz! 😉
Happy Tuesday to you, too!
Yeah, you've made up my mind!!! More time, please 😉
