Let me start with a premise, I love comics and I’ve always wanted to go to Comic-Con. I visited San Diego once but didn’t attend the convention of my dreams, so you can imagine my excitement about reading a book with that setting. Add to this someone like Hector and the excitement becomes pleasure!
What I loved the most was the fact that Hector and Tara had been ‘virtual’ friends for years and also built a very strong partnership, which gave them the chance to finally meet in person for the very first time at Comic-Con. How about that for a super-special date encounter? And while the chemistry between those two made the read hot, the rest of the band entertained with their teasing and a certain supermarket game . . . I swear, it totally cracked me up! I also loved having a double POV (something not present in the previous instalments), it was just the pace that didn’t convince me. I get that the story needed to be said in the space of four days and that the characters already knew each other quite well, but I still felt like something went too fast after the first half of the book.
Overall, I think this instalment was a nice addition to the series and I can say that I definitely fell a bit for each of those guys. Indeed, music stories can rock your reads!

I haven't read the previous books, I kinda jumped in with this one. I mean, how can you not read a book about a graphic novel writer and her illustrator meeting up for the first time at comic-con. I loved this book but I think I was just so excited that it was all set at comic-con, a place where I've been dying to go. So I sort of overlooked the fast paced romance.

I love it when a story is set somewhere I've been (or want to go 😉 Silvia. More Than Comics sounds like a fun read and I'm glad it was a good addition to the series. I'm just sorry that pacing was a bit off. That can absolutely detract from a story. Great review!
