ONE NIGHT ONLY.
Just think of the possibilities . . .
The second she sees Mr. Oh-So-Delicious, Jennifer Hayes knows she needs one night of crazy. No names, no strings, no rules. Except that Jennifer’s naughty one-nighter is actually Marcus Wright—her new business partner! Now they’re mixing business with all kinds of pleasure. But when it comes to falling in love, her sexy Mr. Wright is either Mr. Wrong or the best mistake of her life . . .
Back in February, I had the pleasure to review an ARC of this title—part of the Mills & Boon Dare series—but my blog was still ‘under maintenance’, so I only posted my review on Goodreads at the time. However, to keep my OCD at bay I’d like to share my thoughts here as well, I think some of you could find this an enticing read to add to their list!
I still had to immerse myself in the Dare books, so why not start from the one that is also an author debut, right? In Mr. One-Night Stand, Rachael Stewart uses her beautiful writing to portray two successful characters with an explosive chemistry in the sheets and some family issues that make you feel for them, and also make them down to earth. The bond between Marcus and Jennifer feels real, and it’s impossible not to feel the spark between them from their very first encounter. Oh, THAT—or every, really—encounter and their banter . . . I simply loved how the author used every word and described every scene, I just couldn’t put the book down.
Hot, sexy, and sweet, this is a lovely debut that left me wanting to look forward to more of Stewart’s works. It’s not just the perfect read for this month, it’s the right book to pick anytime you are in the mood for a good romance.
An easy sexy anytime read with two successful characters.. what more could a reader ask for 🙂 Great review Silvia. So glad you enjoyed this one!
Right? When the characters have the right chemistry and you get to feel it, you know you have a good romance in your hands 🙂
This sound delicious, but most of all I like that you described how real their relationship is. That seals the deal for me with a book like this.
That’s what seals the deal for me as well, I get a better bond with the characters and it’s just great when it feels real.
Oh, I remember when you read this one! I always love a good romance, and your inspiring words make me want to read it next—even if I can’t! Awesome review, bestie!
Aww, thanks for that, Fran! ❤️
It’s nice to have a good romance like that
It’s sure nice when a romance works like this one.
I love finding a book that clicks on every level. I love romances with good chemistry and banter. Great review!
I love that too, you can’t go wrong with that mix 😉
This definitely sounds like the type of book that you can’t put down. It makes me wonder how things will work out for the two in the end.
It’s a read you can do in one sitting, the couple has just the right chemistry and it’s easy for the reader to get lost into those pages . . .
