Their lives were perfect . . .
Lady Hero Batten is perfect, well-mannered and beautiful with an impeccable pedigree. After years of waiting for a gentleman to sweep her off her feet, she has decided to do her duty and settle for a proper society marriage to Thomas Remmington, the Marquess of Mandeville. True, the marquis is a trifle dull and lacks a sense of humour, but he is handsome and rich.
Until they met each other.
Griffin Remmington, Lord Greyson, the Marquess' younger brother, is not at all perfect. In fact, some have called him the most notorious rake in London. When Griffin meets Hero he thinks that she is much too intelligent for society, let alone his brother. Their duel of words soon sparks a fire in them both, despite the fact that Hero's marriage to Thomas is drawing ever nearer . . .

Notorious Pleasures was definitely a page turner with well paced action, romance all along and characters you can only drool over. Hero and Griffin couldn’t have been more perfect for each other, two beautiful souls who understand something is missing in their lives only after they’ve met. So different and still so close, their verbal fights were a pleasure to read and I couldn’t help myself but smile every time they used teasing nicknames. But then smiles can easily become grins, you know? And, boy, you may find lots of them in here . . . When you read one of Hoyt’s love scenes—steamy and so, so, so good—your brain might lose the capacity to fully operate. No need to worry, though, you’re in such a wonderful dreamy state that it won’t bother you at all. In fact, you won’t probably find the way to go back to reality.

Another wonderful instalment of an alluring series in which every character—main or not—has something that catches your attention first and then completely raptures your heart.
