When the life you wanted has crumbled beneath your fingers, there’s nothing left to do but pick up the pieces and soldier on. You’ve done this before.
But what happens when you no longer feel like yourself anymore? When fires spontaneously start-up around you, when you hear growling coming from underneath your bed, and you no longer recognize your face in the mirror. What happens then?
Ghost-hunter Perry Palomino doesn’t have much time to find out. Now, the evil she used to hunt is a lot closer to home. It’s inside of her, taking over her life bit-by-terrifying bit, and there’s only one person who can help her.
If part of her doesn’t kill him first.

Without any doubt, this instalment has been the creepiest so far. The subject at hand is one I’ve never been comfortable with, and that is possession. You need to understand it’s something that has always scared me—imagine the great time I had watching The Exorcist— so, reading about it was a big challenge for me—the things you endure for the series you love—but one that I brilliantly completed!

Karina Halle is an evil genius who outstandingly puts your worst nightmares on paper in a so vivid way that you really get scared, and also freak out a lot but, no matter what, you keep reading. You get such an unstoppable adrenaline rush that all you can think of is keep-the-read-up! Perhaps that is what should really be considered scary, huh? Anyway, I had a blast! I got emotional one moment, angry the next and then, all of a sudden, I felt completely devastated. Boy, the things that happened and the characters I despised . . .

I’m really surprised about how much I loved this instalment, less in wanting an ‘Ada for President’ T-shirt, and not at all to find a cliffhanger that already brought me to the next book!
