WHEN SILENCE IS ALL THAT'S LEFT, CAN THE TRUTH FINALLY BE HEARD?
Nora Grey can't remember the past five months of her life. After the initial shock of waking up in a cemetery and being told that she has been missing for weeks—with no one knowing where she was or who she was with—she tried to get her life back on track. Go to school, hang out with her best friend, Vee, and dodge mom's creepy new boyfriend.
But there is this voice in the back of her head, an idea that she can almost reach out and touch. Visions of angel wings and unearthly creatures that have nothing to do with the life she knows.
And this unshakable feeling that a part of her is missing.
Then Nora crosses paths with a sexy stranger, whom she feels a mesmerizing connection to. He seems to hold all the answers . . . and her heart. Every minute she spends with him grows more and more intense until she realizes she could be falling in love. Again.

I was terribly scared to read this book since my disappointment with the previous one, but my love for the first instalment, my faith to find back these beautiful characters, and of course my curiosity won on everything so, I gave to this third book a go sooner than I thought!

I’m very pleased to tell you that now we’re talking! Nora is finally back on track with her strong personality and she wasn’t tiresome at all. Maybe the only part a little bit annoying was the fact that there were some additions I did before her . . . But then she was under a lot of pressure because of her memory and many things to process at once so, I suppose I can close an eye on that after all. Anyway, I couldn’t be happier to tell you that Patch is finally back that hot, sexy, flirting fallen angel we all fell in love with from the very beginning! It was a real pleasure reading about the Patch/Nora flirting moments with a hint of teasing that is always much appreciated, and that makes this couple so charming and so enjoyable to read about. I can’t help it, their moments are always the best part of the whole series, at least for me.

We all know that there will be a fourth book so, the end of this instalment wasn’t a surprise, but I have to say that when I was at the last few chapters I thought it could have been a real good series finale . . . But then something happened that let you definitely wait for the fourth book so, here I am ready to start the countdown for what I hope it will be a great finale!

  1. This is a series that I have started but couldn't get past the first few chapters no matter how many times I have tried but I know a lot of people have said amazing things about it. I might just have to wait a bit more then try again with it.

    Great review 🙂

  2. Yay! Haha, I'm super scared to read the second one, but I do keep hearing the third is better. So I'm still curious! I'm so glad you liked it more and that Patch is back! That's awesome. I just hope the forth book won't be a disappointment! Seems like this could have been a great ending to the series! Great review, S!

  3. I wasn't scared at all when I picked the second book because I was clueless (I hadn't read any reviews or comments about it) but after a few pages I started thinking there was something strange… Then the disappointment hit me. -.- But in this book I definitely found the charm of the first one! Anyway, the first instalment still remains the best of the series for me! 😉
