This short story/novella sees amateur Youtube ghost-hunters, Perry Palomino and Dex Foray, investigating the real-life hauntings of Portland's infamous Benson Hotel. It occurs between books two (Red Fox) and three (Dead Sky Morning) and is the perfect primer for anyone interested in the EIT series.

This short story proves that the length of a book shouldn’t be of any concern when you choose a read. In The Benson Karina Halle puts together all the right elements and words in just a matter of pages, capturing your attention and keeping you intrigued from star to finish, showing you how a novella can be powerful as much as a novel.

Does a haunted hotel fascinate you? If so, you will really enjoy your stay at The Benson. Spooky and mysterious, reading about it is like literally living an episode of a haunted show and isn’t this the purpose of Experiment in Terror? So, well done Halle, Dex and Perry, experiment succeeded!
