WARNING: This book contains sensitive material such as sexual content, abuse, and/or violence.

There's punishment-and then there's vengeance.
Nora Sutherlin is being held, bound and naked. Under different circumstances, she would enjoy the situation immensely, but her captor isn't interested in play. Or pity.
As the reality of her impending peril unfolds, Nora becomes Scheherazade, buying each hour of her life with stories-sensual tales of Søren, Kingsley and Wesley, each of whom has tempted and tested and tortured her in his own way. This, Nora realizes, is her life: nothing so simple, so vanilla, as a mere love triangle for her. It's a knot in a silken cord, a tangled mass of longings of the body and the heart and the mind. And it may unravel at any moment.
But in Nora's world, no one is ever truly powerless-a cadre of her friends, protectors and lovers stands ready to do anything to save her, even when the only certainty seems to be sacrifice and heartbreak . . .

Reading The Mistress is like playing chess . . . with the devil! Through unexpected revelations and exciting plot twists, love, lust, despair and the most overwhelming feelings fulfill the heart of the reader.

I couldn’t rest for a second, I was jumping and, what do you know, praying with every bone in my body at every chapter. The whole plot has been built extraordinarily well and, thanks to the most bizarre but perfect team possibly put together, the author played the best chess game ever. I would have never expected to see characters I grew so fond of interact with others, let’s say less ‘familiar’ ones (but equally powerful and involving) still, they did and the hows were priceless to experience . . . Good God, there’s no one I didn’t love in this series!

I was Nora, I was Søren, I was Kingsley and I was Wesley. I saw the whole story through their eyes and lived it with a passion that made me understand everything and everyone. I cried with and for them and, in the process, I fell for them all. I kneel in front of you, Tiffany Reisz and thank you for a series that is indeed a real contemporary erotica masterpiece and, without a doubt, a wondrous, unforgettable one!

  1. Woot, I'm soooo pleased to hear that, Kimberly!! It was a hell of a ride, indeed. I deeply loved every instalment, they're still with me and I think they're going to keep me company for a very long time… And LOL, I know the feeling about having more books than you can remember, but this kind of addiction sounds just right to me! 😉
