A sexy seven-day job interview. Seven irresistible interviewers. Who will she choose at the end of the week?
Tess has been determined to get revenge for her father, ever since he was falsely accused of misusing company funds and unceremoniously let go from Diamond Enterprises. Applying to be Executive Assistant to the elusive, elderly head of the company, Mr King, seems the ideal way to get inside the firm and clear his name.
But the job interview is not what she expects. Arriving at the company HQ, she is escorted to a helicopter, blindfolded and flown to a secret location. She meets a man whose voice is disguised, but introduces himself as Mr King and says the job advertisement was a ruse to find the new CEO of Diamond Enterprises. The catch, the interviewer says, is that the job will only be hers if she passes a seven-day interview.
Tess will have seven mysterious men who will assist her—one for each task each day. She will have to use all of her skills if she's to succeed and to resist the powerful magnetism of the irresistible men sent to help—or distract—her. Or will Tess find herself losing her heart when she meets her man of the week?

Imagine you have been offered an unexpected, big job opportunity BUT, in order for you to get the job, you need to pass a seven-day interview conducted by seven—too hot it should be illegal—men. Can you focus just on every task?

Tess is a very smart woman with great skills, but she couldn’t have possibly seen this interview or the outrageously good looking men coming. Especially one . . . She can’t keep him out of her mind, so much that her heart starts sending signals, too. And doesn’t this surprise her? After all, she is a girl on a mission, there’s no space for fantasies of any kind. Or is there? The most surprising thing, though, it was me wanting to find out about the next ‘challenge’ more than anything else. I mean, what Tess can possibly come up with, when no one gives her real instructions or clues? Not once. And this is how you turn a hard working week into a pleasant reading time.

Get ready for a hot Mr for each day of the week, seven tasks to succeed, and an intriguing twist. I’m glad I could read this (originally) serial as a stand-alone book, otherwise it wouldn’t have been just Tess under test, but my patience as well!

    • Right? And keeps the right halo of mystery until the very end . . . I sure like that, and I tried serials, but I definitely prefer stand-alone books.

  1. Lovely review. I am really intrigued by the set up of this story here. Seems like you had a ton of fun with this book and yeah I can’t read serials….my patience runs too thin for them lol

    • Thanks! The set up was what piqued my curiosity right away, I found it original and intriguing. I’m kinda glad to hear I’m not alone when it comes to serials, lol Good thing this one has become a stand-alone!

Whew *fan self* This set up is sooo interesting and I like that the book kept making you want to know what the enxt challenge was.

    • I was going into each chapter with no clue whatsoever, like the leading female character in here, and that definitely kept my interest from beginning to end.
