HAILEY
In the blink of an eye, everything changed, and I can’t pretend I don’t need Cole anymore. He’s my heart and soul, but he’s shut me out, and I’m scared.
COLE
Keeping Hailey at arms’ length used to be an annoying challenge. Now it’s a matter of life and death. I want vengeance. And then I want Hailey to be mine, forever.
This third and final part of the Hate F*@k serial may not have gotten me particularly thrilled, but I can’t say I’m unhappy either. Hailey and Cole’s interaction is better, their moments aren’t just a series of sex encounters, and we even get to know a bit more about Cole. Still not enough for me, but at least it helped me not being so indifferent to him and I could see his relationship with Hailey under a different light. It’s true that—like with the last instalment—the cliffhanger finds a quick resolution, but this time the events leading to it are relevant to a bigger picture. I liked that, and I appreciated a twist I didn’t see coming.
Overall, I’m not a fan of it, but I enjoyed this serial even though it had its ups and downs. If you’re going to try it, I would really suggest you to have the three parts at hand and read them altogether.
Well, since I've already got the first 2, I'll make sure to have the 3rd close at hand when I read it ! But I'm not in too much of a hurry… Thanks for sharing, Silvia 🙂
I am glad that despite this one not rocking your world that you ended the series happy you invested the time and enjoyed it over all.
Hmm now I'm not sure if I want to read this one since I've seen all 3 parts reviewed. I'll put it on the backburner and read some I bought at RT this weekend 😀
No problem! Whenever you decide to try this serial, I do suggest you to read the three parts altogether, Iza.
I would have definitely preferred more character development, but the story wasn't all that bad.
Well, I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with all the recent shopping! 😉
You were such a trooper with these.
The fact is that it was a serial, so each instalment wasn't very long. Besides, once I start something I'm kind of unstoppable! LOL
