I prefer watching sci-fi than reading it, but when my best friend points a title that she is sure I would totally enjoy, I pick it up without hesitation. The result? A (galactic) blast!
With Firefly vibes and a very intriguing plot, you really can’t go wrong, can you? Add to this a rebel, kick-ass heroine and a cocky, roguish hero—crush over character, checked!—and you know you have an explosive read to go through. Like the chemistry between Tess and Shade, the story is truly exciting and I felt invested by the whole conflict, the mystery behind everything, and every character playing their important role. The author does an amazing job with the world-building and makes sure the reader gets the pieces of the puzzle without actually spoiling anything before it’s time. I love that, and I sure loved the slow building romance, which made me particularly savour all the banters and sexual tension between Tess and Shade.
Nightchaser is an action-packed novel with great characters, the right dose of spicy—and funny—moments, a thrilling adventure and twists that don’t make it just a real page-turner, but also make you beg for the next instalment to be out ASAP!

She sure does! I also loved the first instalment in her fantasy series, I think her writing style is amazing and definitely captivating.
To start off I love the name of this book <3 It already grabs you as exciting! And I love the sound of Shade… This actually sounds like a great read and something I would like when I need a bit of a galaxy adventure read. Great post and review friend 🙂
